Click on number in "Anc. #" in the far right column in the chart above for more information on the oldest known Thompson ancestor of that participant. (It's a very tiny link in that last column.)

Conclusions

"A001" is the tested result of a descendant of John Thompson through John's son, William Thompson and his wife Maria Dobson.

"B00" awaits a Thompson descendent volunteer from the line of William Thompson and Helen/Eleanor McKenzie.

"C00" awaits a Thompson descendent volunteer from the line of William Thompson and Sarah Rafter.

Please contact me if you're a descendant of any of these Thompsons and are interested in volunteering for a YDNA test. The test is done by yourself in your own home with a q-tip type swab. You simply swab the inside of your cheeks, mail it away, and wait for the results. Easy!
