The public square in St. Denis, on the Richeleau River in Quebec. Robert Flowers was stationed here. for a time. Today this is a wonderful, small Quebec town. My wife and I were very taken with it on our journey through it in June of 2001. Immediately across the river from St. Denis is St. Antoine, an area where other companies of the 29th of Foot were stationed in order to ensure against rebel invasion, along the Richeleau, from the south.
